Frequently Asked Questions
-
A Content Service is creative photo or video coverage of your existing event, brand project, or personal moment. You bring the vision. A Film Trips creator brings the camera. Browse creator listings, review their starting investment, format, and portfolio, message directly, align on scope, and confirm. The creator comes to you, captures the moment, and delivers your edited content within the agreed timeline. Simple from start to finish.
-
Corporate Services are designed for organizations, teams, and businesses that need coverage for events, conferences, brand shoots, headshots, and activations. Lifestyle Services are designed for individuals, small businesses, and personal moments like family portraits, celebrations, personal branding, and milestone sessions. The booking process is the same for both. The difference is the type of creator and the context of the shoot. Browse both and filter by Content Theme to find the right fit for what you need.
-
If you are booking on behalf of a business, organization, or team for a professional purpose, Corporate Services is the right path. If you are investing in content for your personal brand, small business, family, or a meaningful life moment, Lifestyle Services is the right path. Still not sure? Browse all Film Trips listings and filter by Content Theme to find creators whose work matches your vision regardless of category.
-
Film Trips creators include local photographers, videographers, and content creators ranging from mobile and UGC creators to seasoned professionals with full production setups. Every creator manages their own listings, sets their own starting investment, and specifies their format and deliverables upfront. You can browse by Content Theme and review portfolios to find a creator whose style and experience matches what you need.
-
Yes. Many Film Trips creators offer combined photo and video packages. Check the creator's listing to see exactly what formats and deliverables they offer. If you need both photo and video and a creator only offers one, you can message them directly to ask about combined coverage or browse other listings that specifically offer both.
-
Once you and the creator align on scope and final investment through platform messaging you pay in full before the session begins. All payments are processed securely through Film Trips. Funds are held and released to the creator once you confirm content delivery or automatically after 14 days. Film Trips charges a 5% booking fee on the client side at checkout. There are no invoices, purchase orders, or off-platform payments accepted.
-
If you have a concern with your content delivery do not confirm receipt through the platform. Reach out to the creator directly through Film Trips messaging to share your feedback and request any changes. The creator can make revisions and resubmit for your review. If you and the creator are unable to reach a resolution together, contact the Film Trips team and we will step in to help resolve the dispute before any funds are released. Film Trips holds payment until delivery is confirmed which means you are protected throughout the entire process.
