⭐️ FILM TRIPS — CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

Effective: 11-30-2025

This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to all bookings made through Film Trips, LLC (“Film Trips”).

By booking a Film Trip, Guests agree to this policy.

1. Guest Cancellations

1.1 Guest Cancellations More Than 24 Hours Before the Film Trip

Guests may cancel up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund, minus processing fees (if any).

1.2 Guest Cancellations Within 24 Hours

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the Film Trip start time are non-refundable, except for:

  • documented emergencies

  • severe weather that makes the experience unsafe (determined by the Creator)

1.3 No-Shows

If a Guest:

  • arrives more than 15 minutes late,

  • goes to the wrong location, or

  • does not attend the Film Trip,

…it counts as a no-show, which is 100% non-refundable.

2. Creator Cancellations

2.1 If the Creator Cancels

Guests receive a full refund (including platform fees).

2.2 Creator Delays or Rescheduling

If a Creator reschedules due to:

  • weather

  • emergencies

  • sudden venue issues

  • illness

Guests may choose:

  • full refund, OR

  • free reschedule to a new time

3. Weather Policy

Film Trips take place outdoors, indoors, and in natural environments. Weather conditions do not automatically warrant refunds.

3.1 Non-Refundable Weather Conditions

The following do not qualify for refunds unless the Creator cancels:

Cloudy skies

  • Light rain or drizzle

  • Humidity

  • Heat or cold

  • Wind

  • Overcast lighting

3.2 Unsafe Weather (Refundable)

Creators may cancel or reschedule due to unsafe weather, including:

  • lightning

  • heavy storms

  • hurricanes/tropical advisories

  • unsafe flooding

  • extreme cold or heat advisories

If the Creator cancels for safety, Guests receive a:

  • full refund or

  • reschedule option

4. Venue, Partner, & Location Issues

Film Trips occasionally partner with venues, studios, or community businesses.

4.1 If a Venue Cancels

Guests receive:

  • full refund or

  • reschedule option

Film Trips is not responsible for venue closures or operational issues.

5. Partial Refunds, Credits, and Transfers

5.1 Partial Refunds

Film Trips does not offer partial refunds for:

  • late arrival

  • dissatisfaction with lighting or weather

  • not liking the content style

  • missing part of the Film Trip

5.2 Transfer to Another Person

Guests may transfer their booking to another adult (18+) up to 24 hours before the Film Trip.

6. Content Delivery Issues

Because Creators are independent contractors:

Film Trips is not responsible for:

  • delayed delivery

  • lost files

  • editing choices

  • number of photos

  • content quality

Refunds for content delivery issues are handled between Guests and Creators, and Film Trips may assist at its discretion.

7. Emergency Exceptions

Refunds may be issued in rare emergency cases, such as:

  • hospitalization

  • severe illness

  • documented family emergencies

  • Creator emergencies

Film Trips may request documentation.

8. Chargebacks & Disputes

Guests agree:

  • to contact Film Trips BEFORE filing a chargeback

  • that filing a chargeback in violation of this policy may result in account removal

Film Trips may provide:

  • logs

  • GPS/IP records

  • communication history

  • attendance proof

…to fight invalid chargebacks.

9. Policy Enforcement

Film Trips reserves the right to:

  • interpret

  • modify

  • update

this policy at any time.

Guests will be notified when updates occur.

Continued booking = acceptance of new terms.
